BAD&BOUJEE feiern schwarze Frauen mit unterschiedlichen backgrounds. Das Kollektiv wurde von der gebürtigen Wienerin Elisabeth Mtasa & Enyonam Tetteh-Klu gegründet,

die zusammen mit ihren Resident DJs Tonica Hunter & Tmnit Ghide und Resident MC Tanya Moyo Partys veranstalten, die jeden Menschen einbeziehen wollen, unabhängig von Hautfarbe, Sex und Sexualität.

Das Aufwachsen als junge schwarze Frauen, in überwiegend weißen Ländern, kann sehr herausfordernd sein, weshalb es wichtig ist, weiße institutionalisierte Räume zu besetzen und in solchen Räumen vertreten zu sein.

BPOCs zusammenzubringen, zu feiern und sich in Räumen niederzulassen, die sie ursprünglich nicht einbeziehen, ist in Ländern wie Österreich und Deutschland eine wichtige und politisch starke Aussage.

Seit 2017 unterstützen Bad&Boujee die Rapperin Ebow bei Konzerten in Österreich und Deutschland, sie spielten auf verschiedenen Festivals wie dem HYPE-Festival, dem Pop Kultur Festival in Berlin und dem Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg.

SHAINA ZAFAR, 19, is the Chief Product Officer at JUV Consulting. She previously founded Code for a Cause, a program in partnership with Microsoft, to motivate young girls to raise awareness about social causes through bloc programming and now is a rising junior at the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, she’s involved in Turner Society for Social Impact and serves as a Pennsylvania United State of Women Ambassador for advocacy. Being cognizant of her voice and the power of Generation Z, she oversees JUV’s consultancy practice and the research practices with the Vine—a global network of 1,700+ Gen Zers. Previously, she’s worked with the Born This Way Foundation and AOL’s BUILT BY GIRLS Program. Every year on her birthday, she makes a Spotify playlist with exactly 365 songs. CLOVER HOGAN, Senior Strategist @ JUV
Clover Hogan is a 20-year-old climate activist, youth spokesperson, and founder of Force of Nature. After graduating from the Green School in Indonesia, she worked with Impossible Foods founder Pat O’Brown to develop national youth strategy, led marketing campaigns for Leaders’ Quest in London, and consulted companies at Volans alongside John Elkington, global authority on business as a force for good. This year, she launched Force of Nature to help young people realise their potential to inspire change. Through consultancy, thought leadership, and targeted campaigns, their mission is to support the emerging generation of leaders to become custodians of a future by their own design. Clover is also a London-based Senior Strategist for JUV Consulting, where she advises purpose-led brands on mobilizing young people to become champions of social and environmental justice.
