Radio Diwanistan combine musical influences from Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the Balkans to create a fresh new sound that changes smoothly between oriental party mood and Eastern European blues, improvisation, original compositions, regional traditional genres and the repertoire of famous interpreters. A cosmopolitan mixture emerged from the duo Julia Rhomberg & Hassan Ibrahim Berzencî, who sing in dialogue but in different languages, which reflects the background of the musicians and with which the ensemble is already filling large concert halls.
